Having a clean house is extremely important. There are a lot of germs and allergens in the dust that you house will get layered in, week after week, and most of it is human skin! If you don’t want to be breathing in people’s body parts, then you will need to be up on your cleaning at all times to prevent the build up of dust, dirt and grime. The main issue that people have with cleaning their homes is the effort involved. Cleaning is very boring and it takes a lot of focus to keep your mind on these dull tasks, which is surprisingly tiring! Getting your cleaning done in large bulk jobs on the weekend will usually mean that you avoid it if you can, and that of course means that you leave it for as long as possible between cleans, as it is such a pain. This of course means that the dirt and grease will build up in a big way, leading the clean to be more difficult when you do finally get round to doing it. The fact of the matter is, you need to regulate your cleaning to ensure that the job stays as an easy set of tasks that do not involve much more than a spray on, wipe off process. This is not always easy, and keeping up on the cleaning is difficult to do, with the business of modern life getting in the way. If you can find times to do the various things that a clean requires, and stick to them, then you will no doubt be able to make sure that your house is clean and fresh at all times, which will mean that people enjoy coming over and experiencing your space.
Try giving some though to those times in the week when you are not doing much other than lounging around. There is often ten to twenty minutes in the morning when you are not doing a huge amount, so why not run a duster over the sideboards? When you get in, why not run the hoover round the house before you sit down to watch television? It is as simple as breaking the clean down into separate tasks that do not take that long to get done, and really are not that difficult. If you are still struggling with the boredom of cleaning even for these shorter amounts of time, then why not try putting something on to distract from it? You could try listening to a favorite album and by the time the album has finished you will likely have done more than enough house work. Even putting on an audio book will mean that you are increasing your literary knowledge and enjoying the story, whilst getting the chores done. The beauty of housework is that it does not take much concentration, and that is why it is so dull. The reason that this is a good thing, is that you can almost switch off your brain to the cleaning, and really enjoy whatever you are listening to. You will no doubt blink back into the real world and realize that your bathroom is looking completely spotless, yet you hardly remember doing the cleaning!
Making your house a beautiful place to live in is easy if you are dedicated to sticking to a timetable of cleaning throughout the week. It is not hard to make sure that this happens, so just be vigilant with yourself and you should be completely fine!
